Sandspit is located at the north east corner of Moresby Island in Haida Gwaii. 50 nautical miles off the British Columbian mainland, the island chain is formerly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands. The islands are in the heart of major salmon migration routes, making the area the best salmon fishing in the world.
